Our Story

HABUTAE TOFU was founded in 1923 in Kanazawa, Japan. With our health-oriented food, we are an integrated manufacturing company that prioritizes caring for the environment.
Along with tofu, we produce over 300 types of foods all made with a list of healthy ingredients, from soybeans to gluten-free supplies.
Our top priority is making sure our customers have full trust in us. Which is why we always strive to provide insanely great and wonderfully tasting products that have zero adverse effects on our environment.
Our soy milk and tofu are made 100% in-house, allowing us to focus on quality first for the peace of mind of health-conscious people around the world.

VEGGIE TOFU NUGGETS

The delicious veggie tofu nuggets can be served on their own or with a colorful side dish for taste! Prepared with tofu and vegetables (lotus root and edamame) as the primary ingredients, this is a healthy staple you need in your fridge.
To give you that extra crunch, we added lotus root and edamame (a large rhizome pulled from Nelumbo nucifera) for a crispy texture.

Edamame

  • These green soybeans are harvested before maturity
  • Contains proteins, vitamins, dietary fiber, minerals, etc.

After thawing in the microwave, fry at 338 ℉ for 1 minute and
30 seconds.

・When stewing:

Place in soup stock while it is frozen and simmer for about 10
minutes.

・When steaming:

Steam it in a steamer for 8 minutes while it is frozen.

Defrosting Method

・Using a microwave oven at 1100W, heat 6 pieces for 50 seconds or 10 pieces for 70 seconds (be sure to wrap)

Preservation Method

・Store at 0° F or below.
・After thawing, store in a refrigerator and eat within 3 days.

Mochi Inari

Our Mochi Inari (“Inari” is fried tofu in Japanese) is a deep-fried tofu stuffed with our mochi that does not harden, even when cooled. If you are looking for the best meal to serve in a hot pot, you need our Mochi Inari.
